Seller Guidelines for GemsMart

Welcome to GemsMart! To maintain a trusted and secure marketplace for buyers and sellers, all sellers are expected to follow these guidelines when listing and selling gems and jewelry.

1. Product Listings

  • Sellers are responsible for dispatching items on time according to the estimated shipping dates provided in the listing.

  • Sellers must provide tracking information.
  • International shipping must comply with all applicable customs, taxes, and import regulations.

4. Returns and Refunds

  • All returns and refunds are handled according to the marketplace policy.
  • Sellers should cooperate with the marketplace team when buyers initiate returns or refunds.
  • Sellers must not directly dispute or deny return requests outside the marketplace platform.

5. Communication and Support

  • Sellers must respond to buyer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • All communication should be conducted through the marketplace messaging system to ensure transparency.
  • Any disputes, complaints, or issues must be reported to the marketplace team for resolution.

6. Compliance and Legal Requirements

  • Sellers must ensure that all items are legally sourced and comply with applicable laws regarding gemstones, precious metals, and jewelry.
  • Prohibited items (stolen, counterfeit, or illegal goods) cannot be listed.
  • Sellers must comply with all relevant import/export regulations if shipping internationally.

7. Prohibited Practices

  • Misrepresentation of product quality, origin, or certification.
  • Listing items that are damaged, counterfeit, or stolen.
  • Engaging in fraudulent reviews, fake sales, or manipulative practices.
  • Circumventing marketplace processes for returns, refunds, or disputes.

8. Marketplace Oversight

  • The marketplace reserves the right to remove listings, suspend, or terminate accounts for non-compliance with these guidelines.
  • Sellers are expected to maintain high standards of professionalism, honesty, and transparency at all times.
